Privacy policy

aBetterMe ("we", "us") turns your overnight wearable data into a short morning health plan. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you stay in control. We keep it plain. If anything is unclear, write to hello@abettr.me.

What we collect

Account details: your email address and phone number. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us — nothing else. We never see or store your Google password.

Intake and quiz answers: your goal, height, weight, what feels most off, realistic weekly commitment, safety flags, the responses you give in the constitution-type quiz, and the body-mind type we calculate from them.

Wearable and health data: with your permission, we receive daily metrics from your connected device through our wearables partner — sleep stages and duration, heart-rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, readiness and skin temperature. We do not receive GPS or location data.

Usage data: basic logs (such as when an insight was generated or a message was sent) used to run and debug the service.

Payment data: if you choose to leave a tip, our payments processor handles your card details directly. We receive a confirmation and your tipping status — we never see or store your full card number.

Why we use it

To generate your daily insight: we combine last night's data, your 14-day history, your intake answers and your body-mind type, and send the result to our AI provider to draft a one-page plan.

To deliver it: we send the morning insight to your WhatsApp number and show it on your dashboard.

To run your account: authentication, support replies, and (if you tip) issuing a receipt.

We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not build profiles of you for any third party.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted service providers, each only for the job named below:

Supabase — database and login, hosted in Singapore.

Junction — connects your wearable and relays its daily data to us.

Anthropic (Claude) — drafts the text of your insight from the data we send. Anthropic does not train its models on this data.

Twilio — delivers your insight over WhatsApp.

Resend — sends transactional email such as PDF reports and receipts.

Stripe — processes tips, if you leave one.

Vercel — hosts the website.

Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google".

We do not sell your data, and we never have. We share it only with the providers above, only as needed to run the service, or where the law requires it.

Where it is stored and for how long

Your data lives in Supabase's Singapore region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security, so one account can never read another's data.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, quiz answers, wearable data and insights. Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups before they age out, and we keep the minimum payment records our processor and tax law require.

Your choices and rights

You can export or delete your data from the dashboard at any time, or by writing to hello@abettr.me.

You can disconnect a wearable at any time, which stops new data from flowing in.

You can opt out of WhatsApp messages by replying STOP, or ask us to close your account entirely.

Our handling is aligned with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). If you are in a region with additional rights (such as the GDPR), you may also request access, correction or erasure by contacting us.

Children

aBetterMe is for adults. The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you directly.
